Outreach Mission Control brings initiatives, mission applications, community partners, team preparation, prayer, verified service time, and reviewed impact stories together. It builds on existing Outreach Campaigns and Events instead of creating separate giving or registration systems.

Set Up an Initiative

  1. Create or open an active Outreach Campaign.
  2. Open Outreach Campaigns > Mission Control > Initiatives.
  3. Choose an outreach event, mission trip, service project, or fundraiser.
  4. Choose direct signup, a reviewed application, a linked Event registration, or closed signup.
  5. Optionally link a community partner, add capacity and deadline, publish a prayer focus, and deliberately enable organization-level map coordinates.
Mission applications are for adult members and collect only motivation, experience, availability, and accessibility or support requests. Do not ask for travel documents, immigration, medical, child-travel, or financial-account information in this workflow.
For adult mission trips, applicants can open Private travel readiness after applying. This separate consented record encrypts passport, visa, immigration, medical-clearance, vaccination-readiness, and emergency-contact fields. Authorized reviewers open it from the application card; access and decisions are audited. Members may delete it, and a retention job purges its contents 90 days after the trip. Child and youth travel uses linked Events and the existing guardian, waiver, and protected-session safeguards.

Review and Prepare a Team

The restricted Applications section lets authorized reviewers approve, waitlist, or decline mission applications. Private support requests do not appear on public pages or in ordinary campaign administration. Use Readiness & Updates to add packing items and training steps. A training step can include instructions, a resource link, and staff verification. Approved members see only their own readiness in the mobile Outreach Hub. Updates can be public, limited to the approved team, or limited to members with a settled gift for that campaign. A pledge or failed checkout does not grant donor-update access.

Publish Trusted Local Services

Use Partners & Services to maintain organization contact details, opening hours, accessibility, eligibility, referral instructions, service category, and optional public map coordinates. Keep unconfirmed information in draft. Import partner directory previews a CSV with row-level errors before import. Imports are limited to 500 valid rows, use a stable external ID for repeatable updates, and are always saved as drafts with public map visibility off. Preview coordinates from locality returns organization-coordinate candidates without saving anything. Review the candidate, then explicitly save and publish the map pin. Plan partner visits orders two to twenty deliberately published partner pins and can open them in a maps app. It uses straight-line stop ordering—not live road or traffic optimization—and never uses member or beneficiary locations. After checking a published profile, use Save and re-verify. Information that has not been verified for 90 days is visibly marked so visitors know to contact the organization before relying on it.
Partner profiles describe organizations. Never store beneficiary addresses, service usage, referrals, attendance, or case notes in the directory.

Verify Impact

Approved members submit service time in the mobile Outreach Hub. Staff verify or reject it, and only verified minutes enter public impact totals. The dashboard may combine verified time, approved participants, prayer supporters, delivered campaign items, settled giving, and staff-recorded aggregate measures. Aggregate measures must not contain names or a beneficiary roster. Members and public visitors can offer stories with publication consent. Every story stays pending until restricted staff review it. Remove contact details, private care information, unapproved names, and identifying details about children or beneficiaries before approval.

Member and Public Experiences

The mobile Outreach Hub provides Explore, My team, Services, and Impact areas. Members can join or apply, withdraw, pray, complete readiness, open training resources, submit service time, and offer a story. The public /{church}/outreach page shows current initiatives, a searchable service directory, deliberately published map links, aggregate impact, and reviewed stories. It does not expose team rosters, donor identity, applications, private notes, or beneficiary records.

Giving and Dependency-Gated Integrations

Fundraising continues through the existing Outreach Campaign checkout and its configured Stripe, PayPal, or Flutterwave webhooks. Mission Control does not create another payment ledger or require another webhook. Transport manifests, vehicles, rooms, and equipment remain gated on capability 14. Cross-church trips and shared partners remain gated on capability 18. AI ranking, rewriting, scoring, and recommendations remain gated on capability 17.
