The admin sidebar starts with People and then lists the products:
  • People
  • Church Management
  • Giving
  • Analytics
  • Marketing
  • Outreach Campaigns
  • Children & Youth
  • Operations & Facilities
  • Discipleship
  • Forms
  • App Customization

People

People gathers the pages you use every day about the people in your church, in this order: Dashboard, Members, Visitor Inbox, Pastoral Care, Donors & Giving, Households, Groups, and Communications. It opens after sign-in and whenever you land on one of those pages from a link or a bookmark. Every page in People also stays where it was. Members and Visitor Inbox are still under Church Management, Donors & Giving is the Giving dashboard, and Households and Groups open the matching tabs on the Members page. Which door you use makes no difference to what you see.

Open a Product

  1. Use the back arrow beside the group name at the top of the sidebar to see the product list, or click the TheFaithApp logo.
  2. Select the product you want to use.
  3. Choose a feature from that product’s menu.
Selecting a product replaces the product list with its feature menu. This keeps unrelated tools out of the way while you work.

Return to the Product List

Use the back arrow beside the product name at the top of the sidebar. Your current page stays open while the sidebar returns to the product list.

Work With Nested Menus

Some features contain another level of options. For example, Marketing contains Email Marketing and SMS Marketing, while Outreach Campaigns contains Donor Management.
  1. Select the feature with the right arrow.
  2. Choose the page you need.
  3. Use the back arrow to return one level at a time.

Use the Collapsed Sidebar With a Keyboard

  1. Press Tab to reach a product, such as Forms. The focused control has a visible outline.
  2. Press Enter or Space to open its menu.
  3. Use Up Arrow and Down Arrow to move between choices, then press Enter to open a page. For a nested menu, use Right Arrow to enter it and Left Arrow to return.
  4. Press Escape to close the menu and return focus to its opener.
Hovering or clicking a product still opens its menu.

Dashboards

The /home page is the people-first dashboard described in Dashboard and Internal Tools; it is the Dashboard entry in People. The Church Management product has its own dashboard at /church with media, bulletin, and membership statistics.

Forms

Admins with the Manage Forms permission can open Forms, then select All Forms to view or create form drafts. Donor Forms remains under Outreach Campaigns and is a separate workflow. Read the Forms guide for creating, publishing, sharing, and managing responses. When you open or refresh a feature URL, the sidebar opens the matching product and feature menu automatically. This lets bookmarked pages retain their navigation context.

Notes

  • The header search lists every page once, even the ones that appear in both People and Church Management. See Search and the Attention Bell.
  • Menu items can vary with your admin permissions.
  • On smaller screens, open the menu from the header and follow the same product and feature structure.
