An optional analytics failure no longer interrupts access requests or hides their confirmation. Visitors can also change cookie choices when a measurement service is unavailable. After accepting optional cookies, the current article is counted once for that page visit. Earlier clicks and scrolling are not replayed. Campaign labels on the current tagged link can still accompany an access request when optional browser storage is blocked. Both optional cookie acceptance and the separate request-form choice are required. Earlier visits may remain unattributed.
