# Steadier prayer loading and church search

> Recover from a failed Prayer Community refresh and keep church searches focused on the current query.

**October 17, 2026**

Mobile version **4.0.19** handles a failed Prayer Community refresh without
leaving a request error unhandled. Previously loaded prayer content stays
available, and you can tap **Refresh** to try again.

Searching for a participating church preserves punctuation in its name,
including `&` and `#`. Results from an older search no longer mix with the
current search, including while loading another page.

Install the update when it is available in your app store.
