# Keep edited free-tool drafts while personalizing

> Change details or switch formats without replacing the wording your team has edited.

The [free church tools](https://thefaithapp.com/tools) keep edited messages while
you change details. Message text and email subjects you have not edited continue
to update. Review your retained wording after changing names, dates, links, or
opt-out instructions.

The visitor follow-up planner keeps separate text and email drafts, including
edited email subjects. Switching formats returns to your edits for that format,
and edited team tasks stay the same in both formats.

Choose **Restore generated draft** on a card to return to wording based on the
latest details. This restores both the subject and message for an email, or the
text of a team task. **Reset details** asks you to confirm before clearing
edited drafts, subjects, and tasks across both formats.

Copy or download your final version before reloading or leaving the page. These
tools prepare drafts without saving them, sending messages, or scheduling
follow-up.

Read [Free church tools](/product/free-church-tools) for the steps.
