# Open product menus with your keyboard

> Use the collapsed sidebar with Tab, Enter, Space, arrow keys, and Escape.

Collapsed product menus now join the Tab order and show a visible focus outline.
Press **Enter** or **Space** to open a menu, use arrow keys to move between
choices, and press **Enter** to open the selected page.

Nested menus support arrow-key entry and return. **Escape** closes the menu and
returns focus to its opener. Hover and click remain available, and unavailable
actions are skipped during keyboard navigation.
