# Add members to a group straight from the Members list

> Tick any number of members, choose a community group, and add them all at once; anyone already in the group or beyond its capacity is reported rather than duplicated.

The bulk bar on the Members list now has **Add to group** beside Add tag,
Message, and Export. Tick the members you want, pick a community group from
the list, and click **Add to group**.

Everyone selected joins the group as an active member, approved by you, the
same way as adding them one at a time from a member's connections. Members who
are already in the group are left as they are. If the group has a capacity and
fills up part-way through, the remaining members are not added and the
confirmation says how many were left out.
