# Private calendars stay useful and private

# Private calendars stay useful and private

Authorized administrators can now create named, read-only calendar
subscriptions in **Events** for published public Events, one campus's services,
one ministry's schedule, or all volunteer services.

Each subscription works with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, and
other calendars that support iCal subscriptions. Because it is a subscription
rather than a one-time file export, future schedule changes appear when the
calendar provider refreshes the feed.

## Access that can be changed safely

The private URL is shown only after creation or an explicit **Reveal and copy**
action. Administrators can give every trusted person, display, or external
calendar its own named URL, then rename, rotate, or revoke it independently.

Rotating a URL immediately disables the previous one. Revoking stops the
calendar from updating until an administrator creates a new URL.

## Only the schedule leaves the platform

Shared calendars include published schedule titles, times, locations, and the
relevant campus or ministry name. Drafts, registrations, assignments, member
names, safeguarding information, and internal notes stay out of the feed.

Existing member serving subscriptions receive the same stronger token storage
and continue to show only that member's published commitments.
